Business approach

Many of my facilitation missions have grown organically. Some people I knew asked spontaneously for active mentoring, coaching or advice based on past interaction.

I specialise in helping team, CEO's,... who are in extreme complex and difficult situations:

  • generational problems in companies run by families,

  • team or organisational dissonance,

  • social unrest within companies/organisations

  • ...

At the core of my conversations, I encourage specific behaviours tailored to your situation.

I favour transparent communication, and act persuasively.

Read a few testimonials to have a flavour of the feedback.

Facilitation
solving a major ownership/separation issue

Some time ago, Roeland was contacted by John, the CEO of an international company bought by a private equity. John was facing a huge collaboration challenge with the founders of the business. Despite his qualifications and several attempts to find an acceptable solution, John didn’t feel good about how things were developing.

He started a program with Roeland, who helped John reconnect with his mission, set priorities, put things in context and find the required strength and patience to pursue this ‘mission impossible’. For months, Roeland was involved with many stakeholders within the firm, to sense possible outcomes.

A step-by-step approach unblocked a complex financial situation and led to a fluid separation of the parties. Recently, John contacted Roeland again to help him define the core company values as well as the real identity of the Company.

mentoring
rebuilding the personal strength of a senior CEO

Roeland knows Eric since many years. He’s the CEO of a blue-chip company. At a certain extremely difficult point of his life, due to an accumulation of different complex private events he called Roeland.

Roeland sensed a high degree of urgency and proposed to meet with Eric in person to discuss the issues in depth. This led to a mentoring mission that lasts since several years, based on regular conversations and touch points, providing Eric with new perspectives, a high degree of distance-taking, and a reconnection with his essence and fundamental strength.

Eric found back serenity and this helped him to cope with the difficult events surrounding him, whilst continuing to flourish in his high-demanding career. He stands in his full power again, as never before.

defining
Conflicting values, mission, and identity

Carine represents a vital, Belgian non-profit organisation as its CEO. She found herself in a growing conflict situation with the Chairman of the Board. The relationship created an uncomfortable venture, with decisions imposed, which she couldn’t agree with.

Carine asked Roeland to facilitate this situation. During the mission, Roeland aimed to define her personal values so as to act in complete alignment with them. This provoked a change in attitude and the mission was extended towards the entire Board of Directors, focusing on setting priorities, and defining an aligned mission, while reflecting on identity and values.

Today, Roeland continues to support Carine and the Board of Directors to ensure a high-energy and fully aligned management style.
